What is IETC?
The 19th Annual Illinois Education & Technology Conference (IETC), which will be held at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Hotel, offers those interested in improving the quality of education in Illinois the opportunity to gain information and exchange ideas on the applications of educational technologies in our classrooms.
IETC 2012 will consist of one pre-conference day (NEW this year!!) offering full-day workshops Wednesday, Nov. 28, followed by two general conference days (Thursday, Nov. 29 - Friday, Nov. 30) filled with one-hour and two-hour concurrent sessions, poster sessions, BYOL/D (bring your own laptop/device) sessions, an exhibit hall (open both days of the general conference), continental breakfasts, luncheons, keynote presentations, featured speaker presentations, a Thursday evening reception, opportunities for networking, and incredible prize drawings!
Who attends IETC?
Teachers, Technology Coordinators, Administrators, Curriculum Specialists, Media Specialists, Special Education Instructors, School Technical Staff, Business Managers, Community Leaders, and Legislators -- Anyone interested in improving education and preparing students to succeed in today's world.
